Know your wood

European beech

We use natural European Beech wood and it's a great choice since it is a non toxic, non-splintering hardwood that is not only chemical-free but is antibacterial, and shock-resistant.

With a fine to medium straight grain it is a very hard wood which means you can get a long life out of these blocks and endless play.

At Isla Play we do not use soft woods like pine and particle board. We have strict quality control on all our toys.
