At Isla Play we put the safety of your childern first! We ensure all of our products adhere to the mandatory safety requirements.

We have sourced the highest quality materials for our products. Our wood is all natural, non-toxic and eco friendly.

some wooden items are sealed using a 100% Tung oil or Osmo oil.

100% Tung oil

Tung oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the Tung tree. It is 100% natural, eco friendly and non-toxic. There is a common misconception that Tung oil is derived from a nut, however Tung ‘nuts’ are actually the seeds inside the fruit of the Tung tree. They fall into the category of “drupes” which also includes other fleshy fruits that surround a “pit” or shelled seed such as cherries and peaches.

If you would prefer your blocks to not be sealed with Tung oil this is something we can organise for you. Please send us an email at info@islaplay.com.au 

All our products are made to comply with the Australian Toy Standards. We hold a product liability insurance policy that covers every item that we make.

Our products are made to the highest standards, however if used incorrectly and breakage occurs they may become a hazard. Please check before and after each and discard if damage has occurred through incorrect use.
